An amazing experience.The day starts early at 4am when we were collected from the boat and walked down to the small river boats for a short trip across the Nile, once across we got into our waiting mini bus and taken to the take off site. I will not spoil the experience of the short boat trip / mini bus ride or what happens when the go ahead to fly arrive except to say it’s an experience. Watching the team all doing their job to get the balloon ready is also a great example of team work between the captain and the ground crew again needs to be seen.Our flight was about 45 minutes and was amazing it was all so carefully controlled by Captain Mohammad who was brilliant my advice is make sure you listen to his instructions before you get in the basket if you don’t he will let you know very quicklyIf you get chance chat with him and he is more than happy to explain to you what he is doing and why in order to make the balloon fly.The landing was brilliant too with him and his ground crew working very hard to make it as gentle as possible and especially they young lads on the ground they worked so hard and was a real sight to see them running over the muddy fields to get to the correct landing area.I would say if you have time and want a truly great experience you must do this trip.Verified Great to see Hatsjepsoet from above. This was an incredible experience !! I went with my son and it was on my bucket list to go up in a hot air balloon my whole life. We had a pick up from our hotel that was right on time and we were driven to the balloon take off point. The staff went over the safety and instructions and we were up in the balloon gently drifting above the most unbelievable sunrise over the Nile River. We loved it!!
